LUXEMBOURG MUSIC AWARDS 2019

ABOUT THE EVENT
Luxembourg’s music scene is developing rapidly and is starting to punch above its weight in terms of export. Today's scene is both vibrant and diverse, with Luxembourgish artists touring globally, securing international airplay and international deals. There has thus never been a better time for a national music award show.

The LMAs have been launched by Rockhal and Rocklab and will be held as an annual ceremony, rewarding music made in Luxembourg in its various forms. The LMAs moreover aim to act as a quality filter for connecting the best Luxembourgish music with the international music industry.

TEN AWARDS - HERE ARE THE CATEGORIES
THE LMAs will award its 10 winners with 30.000 € of funding as well as additional services and project support. Here are the categories:

• stART-up award for Best Upcoming Artist*
• stART-up award for Best Upcoming Musician*
• stART-up award for Best Upcoming Video Director*
• stART-up award for Upcoming Woman In Music*
• stART-up award for Best Upcoming Artwork Designer*

• Artist of the Year presented with the support of Ministère de la Culture 
• Song of the Year presented with the support of SACEM Luxembourg and 1535° Creative Hub Differdange
• Best Music Video presented with the support of Film Fund Luxembourg
• Music Producer of the Year presented with the support of Ministère de la Culture
• Export artist of the Year presented by music:LX
