Musikmesse launches international showcase program

We are delighted to share the details of an exciting project that we've been supporting since the end of last year. In short: We are about to help Musikmesse launch an international showcase festival in Frankfurt, Germany.

Musikmesse is known for being Europe's leading music instrument, music production and note sheet trade fair. Together with the concurrent entertainment technology show Prolight + Sound it attracted an impressive 100.000 visitors, from 144 countries, and 1.900 exhibitors in 2017. What is less known is that Musikmesse is about to launch it's own showcase festival, as we know it from the likes of the currently ongoing SXSW. Using the setting of Musikmesse to launch a new international showcase proposition in Germany makes sense on many levels. There's already a huge music loving crowd in town, Frankfurt (and it's surroundings) is home to many influential German music industry companies, such as Live Nation Germany, and the many music brand exhibitors that are active at musikmesse also constitute an attractive (and rarely accessible) music industry segment to showcase your bands to (endorsements, sponsor deals, etc.).

The showcases will take place at Hotel Maritim, right next to Messe Frankfurt, from 18:00 - 22:00 each night. Here is Musikmesse's first ever international showcase program and line-up.
