Rap icon Nas is complenting the line-up of Roskilde together with Cult of Luna, Freddie Gibbs, Trap Them and Young M.A. Hence, the Danish non-profit festival is complete and publishes the timetable of all 179 shows.
With more than 25 million sold records, 11 Grammy nominees and as a source of inspiration for a new generation of rappers, the legendary US rapper Nas comes to the Orange Stage of Roskilde. Since today the debut record of the New Yorker is considered as one of the best Hip-Hop albums ever. His last record "Life is Good" released in 2012 and at the Netflix series "The Get Down" he was one of the co-authors. Recently it became known that he will release a new album in 2017, so fans could be pleased about new material as well as classics like "The Message", "If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)", "N.Y. State of Mind" and "I Can".
Also New York-based Young M.A. celebrated her breakthrough last year with the hit single "OOOUUU" which generated over 200 million views on YoutTube. She was confirmed besides the famous urban act Freddie Gibbs. Rock fans can be glad about the American Grindcore act Trap Them and the Post-Metal heros Cult of Luna from Sweden.
Theses five additions are completing the line-up which now has 179 shows in total. The exact timetable of the biggest festival in Northern Europe was published today, too. With eight stages and acts from over 30 countries, there will be plenty to plan for the 130.000 fans.
