With today’s four additions, Roskilde Festival’s line-up for 2016 offers 183 acts from more than 30 countries playing the festival’s 9 stages. With the schedule now available, fans and music-lovers can start planning their journey through an abundance of styles and genres.

Across 7 days, established superstars will perform side by side with the stars of tomorrow. For three full days, the three stages Countdown, Rising and Street are dedicated to some of the most exciting Nordic talents. Acts such as First Hate, Phlake, Saveus and Baby Blood – still on the verge of their big breakthrough – will get the chance to play in front of a big, dedicated crowd at Roskilde Festival.

The inner festival site opens on Wednesday with The Orchestra of Syrian Musicians with Damon Albarn and Guests on the iconic Orange Stage, and it all ends with a massive party on Saturday with acts such as LCD Soundsystem, and New Order gracing the biggest stages.

Along with the schedule, the four last acts have been added to the line-up, spanning very different genres: hip hop legends House of Pain, Swedish extreme metal act Meshuggah, cosmic pop from Australia’s Methyl Ethel and British electronic party-starters NERO.

Head of Programme Anders Wahrén says:

“With 183 shows on nine different stages, the schedule helps our festival-goers navigate through the many styles and surprises on offer, whether you want to join the big crowds at Orange Stage and Arena or are looking for the more intimate shows at stages like Gloria and Pavilion.”
