NEW ACTS ANNOUNCED FOR TUCKERVILLE

Asleep at the Wheel, The Tesky Brothers and many more to play the Dutch festival sides 2019

Asleep at the Wheel, Douwe Bob, The Grand East, The Steel Woods, The Teskey Brothers and Dylan LeBlanc will perform at Tuckerville 2019. Previously, James Morrison, BLØF and initiator of the festival Ilse DeLange herself were announced. This year, Tuckerville will take place at Saturday the 7^th of September 2019 at the cheerful grounds of Het Rutbeek, nearby Enschede. Tickets are on sale now.

Old and new stars

The program of Tuckerville features many new and old, national and international stars in the scene of roots, folk, Americana and pop. All-time country heroes Asleep at the Wheel have been around since the 70’s. The band is best known for the massive hit ‘The Letter That Johnny Walker Read’. The band has won nine Grammy’s throughout their career. New stars at the firmament are for instance The Teskey Brothers. These Australians youngsters released their very well received debut album Half Mile Harvest in 2017, but The Teskey Brothers’ raw soul music sounds like it was made in the late 60’s.

Southern rock group The Steel Woods from Nashville are coming to Tuckerville as well, just like singer-songwriter Dylan LeBlanc who makes impressive 70’s folk influenced music. His third album Cautionary Tales from 2016 is a very strong contender. None other than home-grown talent Douwe Bob plays at the festival as well. The singer-songwriter from Amsterdam is known for his hits ‘Hold Me’, ‘I Do’ and ‘Slow Down’, the latter he performed at the Eurovision Songfestival. For Twente locals The Grand East Tuckerville is even more of a home game, with a powerful rock-‘n-roll show guaranteed.

Previously, James Morrison, BLØF, Ilse DeLange, Bökkers, Daniël Lohues, De Rooie Jager, Ferris & Sylvester, Gold Star, Sam Outlaw, Rowwen Hèze and Town Of Saints were announced for Tuckerville. Great music and a great atmosphere are the most important features of the festival by Ilse DeLange. A varied music program, full of folk- and Americana influences, consumed with a broad offer of fresh food, an area for the younger festival visitors and the beautiful woodlands from Het Rutbeek make every visitor feel like home. Last year, the festival welcomed almost 15.000  visitors. Tickets for Tuckerville are on sale now.
