George Hennessey has been nominated to be "Big in 2021" by the UK's leading guitar music platform THIS FEELING.
DEAD STAR TALK have been applauded, and compared to big bands (oasis, ash, etc.), by influential German music journalists such as Markus Kavka (MTV Germany legend) and Klaus Fiehe (WDR 1Live).
George Hennessey will release his debut album in 2022 (first singles coming in Q.4 2021), will be produced by grammy winning Metallica producer Flemming Rasmussen.
DEAD STAR TALK will release their debut album in January 2022, their debut single was released in March 202 and three more will follow in 2021 ("Too Many Too Much" in May, "Wonders vs. Marathons" in August and "My Amore" in November). The album has also been produced by Flemming Rasmussen.
Boths acts have showcase event appeal: George Hennessey has already performed at Berlin showcase Most Wanted: Music in November 2020 and DEAD STAR TALK will be performing at leading Scandinavian showcase festival SPOT Festival in September 2021 (corona allowing).
Both acts have been offered big shows at the end of the year (George Hennessey at a TBA festival in Germany, and DEAD STAR TALK at TBA club show in Warzaw).
Both acts are signed to FACTORY 92 (MGMT & LABEL deals). FACTORY 92 is especially strong in Germany and Poland (with local teams on the ground).
Both acts have enjoyed significant radio success in Poland, both enjoying +1 month worth of rotation on Poland's biggest rock radio station Antyradio (3% national market share) and both enjoying several weeks in the top 10 of the radio's listeners chart (the Turbo Top Chart).
DEAD STAR TALK's debut single "Love Leash" (released on 26.03.2021) has enjoyed significant media support with more than 500 radio plays since the release date (incl. rotations on the likes of EgoFM, NDR Blue and 917xfm) and presentations on major stations such as RBB Radioeins, WDR 1Live and MDR Sputnik. As mentioned above Poland's biggest rock radio station Anty Radio also supported the band a lot.
