The Hungarian band Belau originally started as a solo project by Péter Kedves in 2015 and eventually grew to a four piece. Péter was inspried by his travel adventures abroad and had the idea to translate his experiences into music. The message of Belau is simple: Leave your everyday stress behind and celebrate life. In November 2016 the band released their first full length album "The Odyssesy", that features 12 life-affirming songs and many guest vocalist from the Hungarian underground music scene. After the release Belau played more than 90 shows in 14 different countries including appearances at festivals such as Waves Vienna, Moscow Music Week or Seazone Festival (PL).

Manon Meurt

Show starts at 20:30 on Saturday 23 September @ Spielbude, Spielbudenplatz, Hamburg

Manon Meurt is a young czech band from a small town west of Prague. Though inspired by the Shoegaze movement from the early 90´s and bands such as Lush, Ride or Slowdive, the quartett has still manages to pull off their own sound. Manon Meurt's songs are formed by soft and transcendent vocals, hypnotic bass lines, evolving drums and reverbed guitars with bursts of distrotion, but it's when performed live that the true power of their music truly stands out. During a soundcheck for their My Bloody Valentine support gig, Manon Meurt actually managed to get this major noise making act's sound tech to complain about how loud they were. In 2014 Manon Meurt released their first EP and will release their debut full-length album in October 2017. Before that they want to persuade the audience at Reeperbahn Festival of their unique live power.

Ivan & The Parazol

Ivan & The Parazol is a Hungarian Garage Rock band from Budapest. Formed in 2010 in a private music school, the band has thus far released three full length records. In order to capture the authentic power of their well-known live performances,  the band uses original 70´s instruments such as analogue synths and organs, and record their albums by means of a tape machine. One of the band´s main goals is to be known as a great live band and that´s why they are virtually permanently on tour. Ivan & The Parazol has thus already played hundreds of shows all over the globe including influential festivals such as Sziget Festival in Budapest, SXSW in Austin and Eurosonic in the Netherlands.

Mydy Rabycad

Show starts at 22:30 on Saturday 23 September  @ Spielbude, Spielbudenplatz, Hamburg

Mydy Rabycad combines Swing music with modern Electro-Pop to great effect. The band is fronted by the red-haired singer and lyricist Zofie Darbujánová, who studied vocals and worked for various musicals and theatres in Prague and Pilsen before dedicating herself to her own music. Mydy Rabycad is already one of the most successful bands in the Czech Republic, although they only started making music three years ago. The band has already played +300 shows including performances at renowned European festivals such as Glastonbury (UK), Fusion (DE) and Eurosonic (NL). But the journey is not over yet. In October 2017 Mydy Rabycad will release their third studio recording and at this year´s Reeperbahn Festival they will give the audience a foretaste of their energetic style of Electroswing.
